Abstract
On 24 June 2023, Russia’s President commented on the armed uprising staged by the “Wagner” troops. He compared the situation with the empire’s collapse at the end of the First World War, speaks of a stab in the back of the people, and tries to spread certainty that the "attack on the homeland" will be put down.
